Roland’s decision in 2006 to practise as a sole practitioner was occasioned by his desire to further prioritise his clients’ interests.
Roland commenced work in 1985 for his father, Clarrie Matters, the co-founder of Sydney legal costing firm, Driscoll & Matters.
The training and experience gained whilst there has been the base for the ensuing 35 years of practice and proprietorship.
Roland has been, and is, an Australian lawyer admitted by the Supreme Court of New South Wales and a registered practitioner of the High Court of Australia since 1990.
He holds a current principal's practising certificate issued by the Law Society of New South Wales.
Roland’s services reflect his disciplined, inquisitive and approachable demeanour and his undiminished interest in answering his clients’ “how?” and “why?”
His work is distinguished by his adaption and improvement of a long-standing discipline.
